A roiling cauldron of liquid stone and sulfuric storms.
Pyracantha is the innermost world of the Aethon System — a perpetual hellscape where volcanic eruptions are continuous, mountains are born and swallowed within a single century, and the atmosphere is thick enough to crush an unshielded vessel. No life has ever taken root here. The planet glows a dull red at the night-side terminator, visible even from Verath's surface on clear amber nights.

Ancient Verathen astronomers called Pyracantha "the ember eye" — the first speck of light to rise before Aethon itself crests the horizon. In early mythology it was a warning from the gods: come no closer to the divine flame. Later civilizations determined it was merely a rock on fire, which only made it slightly less terrifying.
