Sextans B

A companion to Sextans A, Sextans B is another dwarf irregular galaxy near the edge of the Local Group. It contains a mix of old and intermediate-age stars, indicating multiple episodes of star formation over its history. Its low surface brightness makes it one of the harder Local Group members to observe.
