LGS 3

Local Group Survey 3 — a tiny transition-type dwarf galaxy that sits ambiguously between a dwarf spheroidal and an irregular. It contains a small reservoir of neutral hydrogen gas but little ongoing star formation. It may be a satellite of both Andromeda and Triangulum simultaneously.
