Also catalogued as NGC 205, M110 is a dwarf elliptical companion of Andromeda, notable for containing patches of gas and dust — unusual for an elliptical galaxy. It orbits Andromeda in a slow, stately arc and is visible to the naked eye on clear nights from the right worlds.
