Galactic Lore

A dwarf elliptical satellite of Andromeda, NGC 185 contains young star clusters and traces of interstellar gas — signs of relatively recent star formation, which is rare for dwarf ellipticals. Its sibling galaxy NGC 147 orbits nearby.
